Supports Western Australia documentary production companies who offer paid on the job training opportunities to local screen practitioners. The training opportunity must be for a 6–12-month period and be in one of the following roles identified for development:
Screenwest
Workforce Capacity Program - Documentary
- Shooter Director;
- Camera;
- Line Producer/Production Manager;
- Editor;
- Story Producer.
Other roles will be considered case-by-case, in line with the evolving needs of the WA screen industry.
Screenwest will offer up to $50,000 per company in this one-off initiative to boost workforce capacity in the sector. Funding is limited and competitive.
