This year’s theme is ‘What’s Next’, reflecting the coming wave of technologies and the aspiration to seek solutions to some of the most pressing issues facing our world today.
More than $23.2 billion in funding has been raised at SXSW Pitch in Austin since 2009. SXSW Sydney Pitch now brings this opportunity to the Asia-Pacific community, providing a global platform for founders and innovators on this side of the world to present their emerging innovative technology across seven categories to a panel of industry technology experts, high-profile media personnel, and venture capitalists/angel investors.
Last year’s inaugural SXSW Sydney Pitch saw Melbourne-based medical robotics startup NanoCube Health win the grand final, giving them the chance to take the global stage at SXSW Austin’s Pitch Award Ceremony earlier this year.
