This attachment opportunity is available for an emerging art department crew member who has some prior experience in props buying and/or set dressing to work on an upcoming feature film, running from Monday 28 October until Friday 6 December 2024 (please note these dates may be subject to change).
The successful candidate will complete a paid 6-week Art Department attachment. Under the guidance of an experienced Production Designer (Head of Department), the attachment will:
- Learn and apply the day-to-day tasks required in the Art Department with a focus on props buying and set dressing,
- Be a part of a feature film location shoot,
- Develop an understanding of the processes within an art department and the roles of the team members,
- Learn how to read call sheets, schedules and scripts,
- Develop an understanding of onset protocol,
- Develop relationships and experience for future opportunities.
