Key Talent Production Placements supports early to mid-career Victorian writers and directors to develop their skills through paid, hands-on placements on a production.
The 6 to 12-week placements are offered on local and international film, television and online projects being made in Victoria. To be eligible for a placement, you first need to successfully apply for our Key Talent Placements Register.
You will be notified 6-8 weeks after applying if you have been placed on the register. You will then be considered for placements as they arise, based on your skills and experience as well as the production’s requirements.

Applications for the Key Talent Placements Register will be moving from ‘applications can be recieved anytime’ to ‘designated rounds’. The next round of applications open 30 September and close 1 November.
