OPEN CHANNEL’S inaugural – GENERATION NEXT DRAMA AND COMEDY CONFERENCE which caters for the Emerging Screen Sector is being held on – August 30th and 31st – Cinema Nova, Carlton, Melbourne

Supported by Film Victoria, Open Channel’s Generation Next Drama and Comedy Conference is a 2-day program of curated seminars, panel discussions and presentations that will provide Victoria’s emerging and early career screen practitioners with the opportunity to engage with their peers, meet and mingle with experienced screen writers, directors, producers, financiers, industry guilds, broadcasters and commissioners.

It is designed to serve as the launch-pad for establishing the future community of Victorian drama and comedy screen practitioners.

Film Victoria CEO, Jenni Tosi will be giving the key note address, with some of Australia’s most highly regarded screen practitioners and organisations signed on as speakers including:
