If you are looking for more information and inspiration on how to broaden your skills and get ahead in the screen industries, AFTRS is offering FREE Taster Sessions for its new Industry Certificate program at an Information Evening on Tuesday 30 October, 6-8pm.
The event includes a panel discussion with Industry experts on How to develop and advance a career in TV, plus practical taster sessions giving you an insight into some of AFTRS new Industry Certificates offering broader digital/online skills – Digital Producer, Writing a Web Series and Content Creation.
The Industry Panel will include Jane Macauley (Director of Production, Endemol Shine), Julia Gretton-Roberts (Production Supervisor, Nine Entertainment), Jimmy Foggo (Head of Development, Eureka Productions) and Tim Hawkins (Freelance Director of Photography).
Industry Certificate course advisors will be available at the event to answer any questions you might have about all our 2019 Industry Certificate program, which also includes: TV Assistant Editor, Camera Assisting, Colour Grading, TV Shooter Producer, Lighting for Drama and Production Management (Scripted).
AFTRS Industry Certificates are a new suite of longer courses mapped to specific roles and skills across the screen and broadcast industries. The curriculum for each of these courses has been created in consultation with our Industry Advisory Panels, ensuring the learning outcomes match with current industry needs.
