Audio engineer Aldo Arechar has been working with Oscar and Grammy award-winning composer Hans Zimmer for almost four years.
As part of Zimmer’s team at Remote Control Productions, Arechar has contributed audio engineering to films like Dune, Top Gun: Maverick, and The Lion King – the latter for which Arechar was recognised by The Recording Academy.
In this interview with Barry De Silva at SAE, Aldo shares his journey studying at SAE Creative Media Institute, to carving a career as an audio engineer working on some of the world’s biggest films, and what it was like shaking the hand of music legend, Dr Dre.
