Alan Harris has been appointed head of scripted entertainment, the local joint venture between David Haslingden’s RACAT and Israeli production company Keshet International, with a brief to sell and develop formats for local broadcasters. It is essentially intended to take Sue Clothier’s Northern Pictures into drama and comedy production.

Harris’s appointment follows the original announcement of the deal back in May this year.
