Winners from the 19th annual Deadly Awards have been announced, with Deborah Mailman (The Sapphires) picking up the Female Actor of the Year, and Luke Carroll (Redfern Now Male Actor of the Year.
Pat O’Shane, the first Aboriginal barrister and magistrate in Australia, won the Marcia Langton Award for Lifetime Achievement in Leadership.
