Banijay International, the owner of Australia’s Screentime, has sold the Australian-created format Popstars to Turkey. Turkish networks Tar TV and Star TV International will air a 13-episode local version, which will be produced by STR. This is Popstars second run in Turkey. The original format ran for seven seasons, and the new version, which goes to air on March 14, will follow the original model.
