Lore, Cate Shortland’s German-language feature, opened in the US on February 8, over six screens, for a total of US$31,498, and an average of US$5,250 per screen, while over in Germany young actor Saskia Rosendahl has been named one of Variety Berlin’s EFP Shooting Stars of 2013. Rosendahl won the AACTA’s Best Young Actor Award for her role in Lore. Lore took $296,762 at the Australian box office (Paramount/Transmission), and US$225,864 from its German season.
