While the main creative game in Australian screen seems to have moved to television, the odds are heavily stacked in favour of players and companies with long track records and deep associations with the tiny handful of gatekeepers in the broadcasters.
It would be wonderful if webisodes allowed new, energetic creators in touch with young audiences a way into the lolly shop of mainstream TV. Is that happening?
