Village Roadshow’s annual figures saw a small drop in profits before tax for the 2015-6 financial year, from $71.2 to $69.1m, which is not bad in tough times. The post tax profit for the year is $50.9m. The total income was just over $1b.  

There is a sense across the document that they doing the expected stuff to maximise ownership of IP, work on marketing synergies, secure finance and cuddle up to the tentpole possibilities. And push into television with a strong international emphasis. China continues to be a sold gleam in the collective eye.
