Tropfest will be broadcast by SBS on the night of the awards. At last glory for all Australians.

Despite the vast horde watching in the Domain in Sydney, and the determined efforts of key fans to arrange some kind of feed to all the other capitals, Tropfest itself has been trapped on Foxtel for a long time.

Now, the ugly demise of the Movie Networks has created an opportunity to spread a lot, lot further.
