The lifeblood of Foxtel is sport. Of the top one hundred shows for 2015, only thirteen are not sport, and eleven of those are episodes of Game of Thrones.
But the top one hundred with sport taken out is a fascinating document in its own right. Game of Thrones comes out on top with 388,000 people watching the initial episode on its first night. But the total audience for non-sport increases over the year as it is run again at odd times, people finish watching eps, or just see them again. That number of total collisions with the show is 1.703m. OTAM also offers the reach figure which covers everyone who has glimpsed even a minute through their fingers, but it does not include repeats, or going back to finish a show. That figure for GoT ep one for the latest series is 1.364m, so a lot of people visited the gorefest more than once.
