Michael Robertson is about to launch into The Pack, a five week shoot about killer dogs and an isolated farm, to be made in South Australia as part of his growing partnership with Kent Smith and Kojo Films.
The budget, he claims, is a bit south of $3m. He also claims to to have a “new financial model which allows me to more readily get into his lower budget genre world. If you get it right, it is very lucrative. And if anyone can get it right, I think I can.”
