After minor dramas with their new online voting platform and an extension of voting deadlines for members of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, Oscar nominees were announced as previously scheduled on 10 January, in a ceremony hosted by actress Emma Stone and this year’s host, comedian Seth McFarlane.
