What’s this?
Here’s the Paramount+ blurb:
The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers features four lifelong mates competing to embarrass each other. They must do and say what they’re told, if they refuse, they lose and face a humiliating punishment. This show revels in The Impractical Jokers’ social awkwardness, as they are instructed to do and say the outrageous to unsuspecting people. Hidden cameras capture the chaos. The Inspired Unemployed run amok in supermarket checkouts, office receptions and dentists.
Each episode features challenges which all four jokers undertake. If they refuse to do or say anything they fail the challenge. At the end of each episode, the joker that has the most losses gets punished and at the end of the series, the joker who’s been punished the most receives the Ultimate Punishment.
They’ll take on a challenge specifically designed to confront their greatest fear. The punishments step up a level because the loser cannot refuse to say or carry out a command, making meeting your girlfriend’s mother for the first time awkward. The punishments include taking the stage in a G-string as part of the Magic Men show, performing poetry at a rock gig and one Joker receives a very public prostate examination.
