Tasmania and South Australia both go to the polls on Saturday March 15 and the screen industries in each state look to supportive government for their continued wellbeing. In this case, Dr O’D fears that silence speaks volumes.
It seems the long established South Australian Film Corporation – it celebrated its 40th anniversary last November – is sufficiently a fixture that its continued operation is not in doubt, no matter which party wins the election.
