The Sundance Festival will unrol 52 Tuesdays and Babadook as part of a lineup which is said to generally skew older for 2014. In Australia’s case, it skews bent and really, really scary.
52 Tuesdays is part of the dozen films selected for the Sundance official World Cinema Dramatic competition. It will make South Australians very, very happy – it was made in Adelaide by Closer Productions, directed by Sophie Hyde and written by Sophie and Matthew Cormack. The producing credits hint at the collective approach of the group – Bryan Mason, Matthew Cormack, Rebecca Summerton and Sophie Hyde.
