Sue Maslin’s latest film, The Dressmaker, is now fully financed and slated to shoot in early 2014 with Kate Winslet and Judy Davis. Putting book, performers and director together with this much potential is a feat in itself.
The Dressmaker comes from a novel written by Rosalie Ham, who gradually turned herself into a novelist through two decades as a nurse in aged care, intercut with a drama degree from Rusden and a handful of play scripts.
