Julie Marlow, Senior Policy Consultant for the Screen Producers Association of Australia, has announced that she is leaving the organisation at the end of the year after eleven years in the job. She leaves only four weeks after the departure of long-serving Executive Director, Geoff Brown. “Things are starting to be a bit Groundhog Day,” she told ScreenHub, “and there’s other stuff out there for an enterprising old woman like me.”

Marlow has been a key player in SPAA, with a brief that frequently stretched beyond policy.
