While television and documentary have taken to the multimedia world, Australian film is still lagging behind. Mike Cowap, investment manager at Screen Australia, gathered a panel to look at the some examples of what occurs when they get it right.

He noted that in the current film multimedia landscape, some of the promotions commonly found include the creation of fake online companies, gamifed recruitment, marketing of fake products, characters coming to life (on social media etc), alternate reality games and real world stunts as well as spin off apps and games.
