In his opening address to the 2012 Screen Producers Association of Australia Conference in Melbourne, SPAA president Brian Rosen criticised the Commonwealth government for failing to implement the recommendations of the Convergence Review and protect Australian content.

“The Convergence Review was delivered in March this year and gave a straightforward path into the digital future,” he said. “A future that strongly supported Australian content and enhanced our business models.”
