Michael Petroni has a classy backstory as a Hollywood writer – think The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Queen of the Damned, but his campaign to direct comes down to the miniseries Masters of Science Fiction and Till Human Voices Wake Us, made in Australia.
