Not a lot of pity was shown to Ruth Harley, CEO of Screen Australia, as she fronted the Senate Estimates Committee on Monday. With little but her own two fists and one heart, she was forced to duke it out over her own choice of computers.
The unpleasant part for Dr Harley related to the vexed question of decisions about computer systems in Screen Australia, by which Scroz ceased to have a free-thinking, creativity-enabled, eye-candied bloc around development, and has entirely entered the grim, metallic world of Microsoft. But first, she had to deal with a certain box office disappoinmnet.
