In week two, the Weinstein empire spread The Sapphires from four to twelve screens. Figures remain respectable. What happens when we compare this with the figures for Lore?

Now on twelve cinemas, The Sapphires has taken $126,218 altogether.

On the opening weekend it make $US9,593/cinema; last week it went down to $5,969. That is not exciting, but it is reasonable enough to keep it running in those twelve venues, and add some more next weekend.
