In keeping with the growing trend to search for State agency board members across Australia, Porchlight veteran Liz Watts will take over from Bridget Ikin for the South Australian Film Corporation.

Liz Watts already has strong practical experience of working in South Australia – she produced The Rover, directed by David Michôd and starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson. With shoots in both the Flinders Ranges and the Adelaide Film Studios, this means she has had direct experience of crews, the possible locations, the funding assistance offered by the SAFC, and the internal systems.
