“Its like going on a mad boat trip, looking for Kurtz up the river. Thats the point – we are all in it together, the filmmakers, the staff and the audience. That creates its own kind of unique philosophy.”

Jack Sergeant, film programmer and writer, is describing the experience of creating the 2012 Perth Revelations International Film Festival. This is the most unusual major film festival in Australia which keeps beeping past the others going in exactly the opposite direction like some demented Warner Brothers Cartoon.
