With everyone else down as the audience chooses to frolic on the lawns of life, Seven turns Dancing with the Stars into an evil ratings killing machine. 1.384m gets it almost 40% of the night for the Grand Finale.

That figure was carved fairly evenly off everyone else’s bone, though the glums will be felt mostly at Nine.

Even Home and Away went Seven’s way, up by 46,000 to handily clear a million. The picture for Nine is not so much fun as A Current Affair loses 84,000. Today Tonight gave seven an extra 90,000 so the gap between the two was 210,000 for that night.
