With the Independent Cinemas Association of Australia nearly two years ahead, the three major exhibition conglomerates have seen the value of a single website to steer punters to the movie of their choice.

Village, Hoyts and Amalgamated Holdings, which contains Birch Carroll, Event Cinemas and Greater Union, have jointly announced the soft launch of their collective search and booking website, MovieTimes.
