MIFF 2016 short film winners – twisted, zany and confronting

Mirrah Ffoulkes, Luci Schroder and Aggelos Papantoniou take the key domestic awards with three completely different worlds and sense of cinema.

The judges were Madman’s Theatrical Acquisitions and Film Festivals Manager Paul Tonta, producer Rita Walsh who has made a lot of shorts and worked for companies like Madman, Ish Film and Warp Films, and writer Alice Pung who is also an editor and lawyer, with a sensitivity to young adult themes.
