There were questions. I’m So Excited, by Pedro Almovadar, seemed to be anything but, if overseas opinion held true. Would we get bored and fidget and pour scorn on the judgement of the ever gracious Michelle Carey, artistic director of the Melbourne International Film Festival?

Michelle Carey is the very model of a civilised curator, but the residents of Melbavostok love a good chance to second guess, even though the decision is subject to many factors and may be a group thing anyway.
