The notion of territorial sales is at the heart of our entire system of monetisation – the thing that is actually bought and sold. Now a government report wants us to abandon it. Though the idea is insane and will fail, it does remind us of a few salient facts as remembered by Dr O’D.

Geolock: a word that means many things to many people… a home renovation service in Canada; a non-GPS location technique using Wi-Fi; or for the folks at Google, ‘GeoLock is for advanced users of Tor that wish to control their exit node geolocation.
