There is joyful outrage in the world of video gamers and movie fans with news that the Mad Max video game has a generic American voice – just like the original movie. Before the film was released in the United States, American International Pictures overdubbed the actors’ speaking voices.

The 2002 special edition DVD release was the first US DVD to feature the original Australian language track.
