Luis Bayonas came to Australia from Spain in the early 1970’s. In the next two decades he worked as a writer for A Country Practice, The Flying Doctors and Homicide amongst other titles. He is about to release his debut feature film on the 22nd of April at the Colac cinemas.

Adios is the result of a long-held desire on the part of Bayonas and his friend, veteran Australian actor John Waters, to work together. The result is a “beautifully non narrative” story according to Waters, about a man who leaves his family and successful career as a musician and actor to live in a shack in the bush.
