James Walker was a former journalist who graduated from AFTRS with an MA in screenwriting and a grad dip in directing in 2004. He became a television writer, script producer and researcher whose work graced Life Support, McLeod’s Daughters, Wild Boys. Home and Away, Neighbours and Wonderland over the last ten years. His sudden death at the age of 41 is a loss to both the screen sector’s present and future.
His colleague Sarah Walker wrote his elegy for the Australian Writers’ Guild, which we are privileged to share with the wider community.
