Executive producer, Bret Ratner (Tower Heist, Prison Break has told The Hollywood Reporter that he is starting a film development, production and finance company with Australian gambling-and-just-a-bit-of-television mogul, James Packer.
The new company will be called RatPac Entertainment, Ratner said.
The pair aim to produce and finance independent films as well as co-financing big-budget projects with studios.
