Here is a story about two approaches to indy distribution which both need tickets sold and audience love. But the reasons and the approach are pretty different. We give you I am a Girl and Persons of Interest.

With I am a Girl, director Rebecca Barry and cinematographer director Nicola Daley, fuelled by philanthropic money, have tracked five girls in very different cultures over the last four years. With an adroit use of social media and the contacts from their financiers, all wrangled by Ester Harding, now of Media Stockade, they have been selling out the pre-buys at The Chauvel and The Nova.
