MasterChef might grab all of the headlines, but 200 episodes of day time cooking shows provide the bread and butter for Melbourne-based production company hsquared – and the occasional trip to the Chelsea Garden Show.

Founded in 2000, hsquared has quietly made an international reputation with cooking and sport, before cooking led to gardening with Chelsea’s Greatest Garden, a documentary that was fortuitously following the Australian winners of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The gardening documentary was, weirdly, a direct outcome of the cooking shows.
