A good year for Australian docs as an engaging bunch of different topics and approaches jostles for attention in Toronto, where the sales agent is increasingly a key personality.

There are three long films in the Australian offer to Hot Docs, and one fifteen minute short. Co-producers and co-directors Kelly Hucker and James Fleming are going to Toronto with a highly constructed film premised on dementia called Ghost Train. Far from grim, it is a playful intersection of fiction and reality.
