Filmart closed Thursday with numbers slightly ahead of what had been anticipated prior to the event. Exhibitor numbers were confirmed as 710, above the “nearly 700” announced prior to the event. Buyer numbers, announced previously as c6,000 closed at 6,300.
THR reported the market as “slow”, although that wasn’t ScreenHub’s experience. It’s fair to say THR mostly focuses its attentions on companies and sales that might have some US name-recognition.
