The Canberra International Film Festival has sent crack ASIO trained ornithologists to find the most outlandishly interesting dealmakers in the international distribution scene. They returned carrying a contract with Harvey Weinstein, scratched with his very own mandibles.

According to Nicole Mitchell, the chair of the festival who also runs this particular program, the Weinstein deal is the inaugural deal in the ‘Body of Work’ program, which will honour particularly significant international figures in an intensive way.
