Old School is an eight part ABC series which starts airing on Friday 23 May. The show stars Bryan Brown and Sam Neill.

The concept was developed from a short film made by Paul Oliver called Lennie Cahill Shoots Through. Gregor explained that it went through a long and convoluted development process, initially commissioned by the ABC with different producers. The project ended up at Matchbox Pictures, with Tony Ayres and Helen Panckhurst driving the project and Gregor and Penny Chapman producing. Paul Oliver is also directing episodes, as is Peter Templeman. The writers are Belinda Chayko, Matt Cameron, Gregor Jordan and Michaeley O’Brien, with script producers John Alsop and Tim Pye. Gregor is effectively the showrunner on the series.
