FremantleMedia has announced plans to make a ten-episode, German-language version of prison drama Wentworth. The series will be shot in Berlin from March, 2014, and produced by UFA Serial Drama, FremantleMedia’s German production arm UFA and RTL.
Wentworth is produced for Foxtel, and the second season of the show is currently under production in Melbourne. Season two is pre-sold to the UK, Eire, Scandinavia, Sweden and New Zealand.
