Drew Berry is an extraordinary animator, who works among leading scientists, exploits new forms of projection, and creates accessible animation for major documentary companies. He is also a significant artist. How does he fit all this together?

Officially, Drew Berry is a biomedical animator based at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne. He is largely unsung outside scientific circles, although his work is understood and appreciated by science documentary filmmakers.
