Doc NZ’s International Documentary Film is a travelling event, but they do have a pitching competition in one place, with a bit of a non-traditional group of commissioning editors.
It isn’t the biggest competition in the world, but it does get a nice blend of commercial and public broadcaster decision-makers, including the NZ-based South Pacific Pictures, Discovery Asia, Al Jazeera and the local broadcasters – plus some Japanese interests.
