On the most general level, Kingston Anderson is about respect, as befits the CEO of the Australian Directors’ Guild. ‘The issue we are really pushing is that there has been a lack of respect for directors for a while now, particularly in television… the profile of directors needs to be raised, and their role needs to be clearer, and needs to be more supported by the producers.’
