The ABC Sunday night classy Australian drama slot climaxes this weekend with Devil’s Dust, a two-part true story from FremantleMedia Australia in association with Bravado Productions. The executive producer is Jason Stephens, a frontline comedian turned backroom television exec.

Devil’s Dust follows the story of Bernie Banton, who fought James Hardie into the ground to get compensation for the victims of asbestos-related diseases. We remember him facing the cameras foursquare on the evening news, like Justice Incarnate, trailing his oxygen bottle, determined to settle the business before he died.
