With Omnilab having settled their case with Digital Cinema Network, Michael Smith stands in a precarious position: defending himself, potentially liable for full damages and costs, potentially liable for one-third of Omnilab’s settlement, and in the middle of settlement negotiations himself.
With the court on recess since Wednesday last week, and settlement negotiations under way since then, the parties returned to court this morning to continue the case.
